PSYCHOTHERAPY CENTERFOR BORDERLINE STATES includes:

1. ODPPC (Borderline State Day Care Unit), which provides:

– psychotherapy and psychological assistance;

– medical and physiotherapy treatment is carried out;

– group relaxation therapy;

– psychological diagnostics of patients ‘ condition is carried out.

During the year, the department treats about 600 patients, mainly with problems of adaptation to new living conditions (divorce, relocation, new place of work, etc.), interpersonal communication problems, panic disorders, depression, insomnia, food spectrum disorders, somatoform autonomic dysfunctions and a number of other neurotic conditions.

In the last 2 years, the treatment of patients with the consequences of a previous COVID-19 infection has become particularly relevant. Most people who have had the coronavirushave a deep legacy of their experiences in the form of prolonged anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks, sleep disorders, cognitive disorders, other neurotic conditions, as well as asthenia, i.e. very pronounced fatigue, both intellectual and physical.  Things that a person used to do absolutely calmly, which were part of his daily life (cooking, cleaning, etc.), suddenly become very difficult to implement. Those intellectual tasks that were previously easy to perform suddenly became difficult to perform (it seems that memory, attention, motivation…).

The psychological service ofODPPC is represented by specialists in medical psychology of the first and second qualification categories, with about 15 years of work experience.

Provides services for:

1. psychological diagnostics:
2. a) the level of anxiety, depression, features of temperament and character, personality, intelligence, features of cognitive processes (memory, attention, thinking);
3. b) professional orientation diagnostics.
4. psychological counseling.
5. psychological correction(group, individual family)
6. Outpatient psychotherapy rooms, where patients can continue their treatment after being discharged from the ODPPC, as well as receive counseling, including anonymous psychotherapy, assistance. In recent years, the number of people applying for such assistance has increased 3-fold.
7. Emergency psychological assistance service “Helpline”(works around the clock-80162 255727 and short number 170), where crisis assistance is provided anonymously by qualified psychologists.
